Email Strategy Consultant (Healthcare Provider Growth)

A profitable, high-growth healthcare technology company is seeking an Email Strategy Consultant to help establish and scale its first formal email marketing and healthcare provider engagement strategy.

 

The organization has experienced significant organic adoption among healthcare providers and is now exploring how email can support user identification, engagement, and growth efforts.

 

This is an opportunity to build a strategy from the ground up while advising a highly technical, startup-minded team.

 

About the Opportunity

The company has historically relied on organic growth channels and has never built a comprehensive email program focused on provider acquisition and engagement.

They are looking for a consultant who can assess current capabilities, recommend tools and processes, and help design an email strategy that supports both growth and user identification objectives.

 

What You'll Do

  • Assess current email marketing infrastructure and capabilities

  • Develop recommendations for healthcare provider acquisition and engagement campaigns

  • Design strategies that improve user identification and attribution

  • Advise on email technologies, customer data platforms, and marketing automation tools

  • Evaluate whether current platforms can support future needs or if migration to a more robust solution is warranted

  • Recommend best practices for:

    • Identity tracking and attribution

    • Email-driven user engagement

    • Segmentation and personalization

    • Lifecycle marketing

    • Data capture and enrichment

  • Partner with technical stakeholders to implement tracking and identification solutions

  • Provide strategic guidance on an ad hoc, project-by-project basis

 

What We're Looking For

  • Deep experience building or scaling email marketing programs

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation and email technology ecosystems

  • Experience with attribution, identity resolution, and customer data strategies

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Mailchimp, SendGrid, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, or similar

  • Healthcare, healthcare technology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or provider-focused marketing experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to operate as both strategist and advisor

  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving priorities
