Program Management Consultant (Healthcare Identity & Data Strategy)
Location: Remote (U.S. Based)
A fast-growing, profitable healthcare technology company is seeking a Program Management Consultant to lead a high-priority initiative focused on healthcare provider (HCP) identity resolution, data strategy, and platform growth.
This organization operates with a highly technical, engineering-led culture and is building intentionally for long-term scale. With approximately 60 employees, they combine startup agility with a thoughtful approach to execution and team building.
About the Project
The company is investing in a major initiative to better identify and engage healthcare providers interacting with its platform—particularly users who are not authenticated or logged in. This workstream sits at the intersection of product, engineering, data, and vendor management.
The consultant will partner closely with senior leadership, including technical and product stakeholders, to drive execution, coordinate cross-functional efforts, evaluate external partners, and keep the initiative moving forward.
What You'll Do
Drive program execution for a complex HCP identity and data initiative
Coordinate efforts across engineering, product, data, and business stakeholders
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
Facilitate vendor evaluations and partner selection processes
Support initiatives involving:
Identity resolution and identity mapping
Data acquisition and enrichment
Data joining and integration strategies
Master Patient/Provider Index (MPI)-driven identification approaches
User experience improvements that increase authenticated engagement
Establish accountability and ensure key milestones are achieved
Translate technical concepts into actionable plans for diverse stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading highly technical, data-centric programs
Strong program/project management background in startup or fast-paced environments
Experience working closely with engineering and product teams
Ability to navigate ambiguity and build structure where processes are still evolving
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience evaluating technology vendors and external partners
Healthcare, healthcare technology, provider data, identity resolution, or data governance experience is a plus but not required
